Having been a firm fixture in the global bar scene for almost two decades, with stints in the UK, Australia and Spain, Fraser Campbell has an enormous wealth of industry experience to bring to his role.

His first introduction to whisky was at young age, but having been born in Speyside, Scotland’s most prolific whisky region, perhaps this isn’t too much of a surprise. While studying at Aberdeen University he sustained his student lifestyle with various part-time bar jobs. It was when Fraser moved to Edinburgh during the cocktail revolution that he became heavily involved. It was his drive and passion for mixology which eventually took him on his worldly adventures. While stationed in Melbourne he co-founded The Global Bartender Exchange, an online platform for bartenders, now over 150,000 members strong.

He’s now stepped out from behind the bar to become a key player in the Dewar’s team. With Fraser’s valuable insight in the global bar scene he’s developed a focused Drink Strategy across the whisky portfolio to help further establish the DEWAR'S brand. In one of his crucial roles, Fraser will attempt to stamp out the all too common misconception that blends are seen as inferior to single malts and in doing so, raise the profile of DEWAR'S blended Scotch whisky around the world.
