Whisky Live Beirut’s fourth edition drew to a close on 12 October 2019 after welcoming over 5,000 visitors for three exciting days at Beirut’s Seaside Pavilion. Guests were invited to sample the finest whiskies from more than 60 of the top brands and join masterclasses with almost 20 international brand ambassadors and experts.

A new and exciting concept for the Lebanese market and the region as a whole, the fourth edition was inaugurated on 10 October 2019 in the presence of H.E. Minister of Tourism Avedis Guidanian as well as presidents of associations and syndicates, trade representatives, international experts and the media.

Organized by Hospitality Services, Whisky Live Beirut’s fourth edition offered an even richer program than previous years. In addition to the tasting area, there were three bars: a Star Bar, VIP Bar and Discovery Bar, highlighting rare whiskies, new releases and cocktails; a Coffee in Good Spirits Competition, showcasing alcohol-based coffee beverages; and The Malt Gallery’s whisky boutique, where guests were able to benefit from discounts on their purchases. Lebanese artisanal whisky and gin producers also launched their specialty brands at the show.

Besides the regular masterclasses, exclusive tastings with Rob Allanson, Whisky Live’s global ambassador, took place at the VIP Bar. “It’s all about discovering whiskies that you haven’t tried before and experiencing new flavors,” said Allanson.

Talking about the show having welcomed visitors from the region at large, Joumana Dammous-Salame, managing director of Hospitality Services, said: “This has been our biggest Whisky Live Beirut to date and we are delighted to have provided a place for whisky lovers to get together and meet international experts. Needless to say, we are already preparing for the fifth edition.”

Whisky Live Beirut 2020 will take place from 8-10 October at Seaside Pavilion.
